Navigating Tenancy Insolvency (SLPL03) is a one-hour, face-to-face workshop which will examine the impact of corporate insolvency on commercial leases, including an introduction to the different roles of external administrators, considerations for a commercial landlord with a potentially insolvent tenant, the exercise of a landlord’s right of termination where an external administrator has been appointed, liability for payment of lease moneys and the enforcement of lease securities in an external administration context, and the proof of debt and priority regime under the corporations legislation.
